So who exactly are The Kenst?

The Kenst are a Huddersfield-based powerfunk outfit who list their main influences as Metallica, Robert Palmer and Kool and the Gang. Well no, I just made that up to make them sound interesting.
They are:
Josh Blinkhorn: Guitar most of the time, drums, bass and vocals sometimes
Mark 'Swinefilth' Swinhoe: Bass and sometimes guitar
Joe Tordoff: Drums and sometimes guitar.
They're a real democracy, but one with loud guitars. Which is cool.
Note: Bob the singer, on the photo you see here, has actually left, but the photo page won't load properly so I've not been able to change the caption or anything. You can tell what a professional organisation this is.

At some point in the future I hope to get all the band members to provide some actual information about themselves so you can read up on all their thrilling lives... Swinny's brushes with the law and recent spell in rehab following a cereal bar overdose; Josh's illicit midnight feasts; and Joe's frustration that his beard is ginger. The spirit of rock n' roll excess truly lives on in the form of the Kenst!

OK, there'll be more pictures soon, but for now, there's one proper picture and a stupid picture of a rock.
